A new home for Rose Cabinet Medicine

August 2, 2026 · Dr. Louise Rose

This is a placeholder post, written so the blog has something to show while the real writing gets underway. Replace or delete it whenever you like.

How to add a post

Every post is a single file in content/posts/, ending in .md. Copy this file, rename it, and change the text. The part at the very top — between the --- lines — sets the title, date, and the short summary that appears on the blog index.

Posts are sorted newest first, using the date you set.

What you can write

Markdown is plain text with a few small conventions:

  • ## Like this makes a heading
  • *asterisks* make italics, **two** make bold
  • A dash at the start of a line makes a bullet
  • [text](https://example.com) makes a link

That's most of it.

Blockquotes look like this — useful for a patient's words, or a line from something you're reading.

What's coming

Notes on the nervous system, the modalities used here, and the thinking that sits underneath the practice.
