Ways we work with the nervous system

Three approaches, often combined. What you receive depends on what your nervous system is asking for.

LENS Neurofeedback

The Low Energy Neurofeedback System uses a faint electromagnetic signal to gently interrupt stuck patterns in the brain — helping a dysregulated nervous system find its own way back to flexibility. It is quiet, passive, and asks nothing of you but to sit still.

Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic medicine centers the healing power of nature and the innate wisdom of the body. Rooted in the European nature cure and vitalist traditions, it honors Vis Medicatrix Naturae — the vital force that directs repair, balance, and resilience — and seeks treatments that align patients with rhythms in nature: food, water, movement, rest, and seasonal care.

Naturopathic physicians are trained in accredited naturopathic medical schools, pass national board exams, and hold state licenses; in many jurisdictions (such as Montana and Oregon) we have prescribing authority and the legal scope to diagnose and manage complex conditions. Clinical practice blends conventional and functional diagnostics and lab testing with botanical medicine, nutrition, hydrotherapy, hands-on modalities, and neuro and somatic approaches.

The philosophy understands symptoms as signals pointing to root causes requiring deeper inquiry rather than symptom management. Care is individualized and collaborative: treating the whole person — body, mind, and spirit — to restore function, regulation, and long-term wellbeing.

Dr. Rose is passionate about the vitalist roots of naturopathic medicine and is an active member of the Naturopathic Medicine Institute (NMI).

Somatics

Somatics — hands-on and self-directed body-based work that helps the nervous system discharge what it has been holding and return to a felt sense of safety. These practices reconnect breath, movement, touch, and awareness to restore regulation, reduce tension, and deepen embodiment.

This includes

  • Craniosacral therapy
  • Shiatsu
  • Aroma acupoint therapy
  • Cupping & moxibustion
  • TRE (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises)
  • Laser, FIR/IR photonic therapies
  • Kundalini Yoga
  • Access Bars
